Epic Games has revealed a new trailer for the Kingdom Hearts collaboration in Fortnite, which, alongside Sora, confirms that Roxas, Kairi, and Riku will be added later this week.
The trailer also features Utada Hikaru’s “Sanctuary,” a key theme for the series that first appeared as the opening for Kingdom Hearts II. “The Other Promise” and “Dearly Beloved” will also join the game on Thursday.
The collab also features appearances by Sora, Riku, and Kairi from Kingdom Hearts II, while Roxas appears in his Organization XIII attire.
Kingdom Hearts Collection [I ~ III] will be released natively for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on October 8, 2026. Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX will also be available on Switch.
Kingdom Hearts IV will be released in late 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox, Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Switch 2.
The franchise has surpassed 39 million units worldwide, and an anime series is in the works.
